Research objectives and anticipated results: The research objectives of WP4 consists of analysing, designing, testing, and evaluating different control policies that are able to mobilize a large number of flexible consumers. The control policies range from decentralized control-by-prices to centralized virtual power plants (VPP).
WP 5 Socio-econ. and Investor Evaluation WPL: Morten Stryg Dansk Energi
The work package is mainly concerned with the economic aspects of flexibility in the energy system. Research activities: The WP is undertaking research on developing methodologies for estimating the socio economic value of flexibility in the transmission system (Task 5.1) and the modeling of flexible DERs are incorporated into a system wide model (Balmorel).
WP 3 Distribution Grid Operation WPL: Jasmin Mehmedalic Dansk Energi
The purpose of this work package is to examine the challenges to the distributions grids introduced by fluctuating RES and a large number of EVs and HPs in the consumption.
WP6 has the purpose of uncovering end user behavior and preferences related to smart grid and smart home technologies, as the mobilization of the ”consumption-flexible prosumers” is of vital importance for the realization of a future flexible energy system based on renewables.
WP 7 Information Sharing Platform WPL: Frank Elefsen Teknologisk Institut
WP7 task is communication including internal communication in the platform and here is Podio as a tool been implemented and widely used for knowledge sharing between the different work packages and for internal administration.
